Scrapbook Layout And FSJ Video

I watched the T3 Tools, Tips & Techniques video by FSJ with Kim Kesti.  She used the Good Life and Mother Nature color palettes in the video.  I used everything that she used in the video except the leaves from the Bloom benefits because I didn't have them.  If I did have them on hand I would have used them.  For the leaves I just used the Die set Hello Fall.  I did rearranged everything and made it a 2 page layout instead of one.

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Life is Beautiful
Paper: Good Life Prints, Chambray Shirt, Oatmeal Cookie, Dark Roast, Corrugated Stock, Pool Play, Whip Cream and Catalina Splash (Maybe)
Ink: Dark Roast and Chambray Shirt
Dies: Summer Branch, Cottage Bloom, Hello Fall, Frame It Die Set (Host Set)
Accessories: Boho Trim, Be Natural Brads, Cottage Pearls, Mini Wooden Clothespins, Nature Buttons, Natural Twine, Dark Roast Silk, Journey Piercing Template, Journey Piercing Mat, Bloom Tool, Corner Rounder and Circle Bliss Stencil

Here's the video to FSJ Tools, Tips & Techniques with Kim Kesti.

Until next time, have a blessed day!!!!

Fall Cards and Home Decorating

I wanted to make a set of small cards with matching envelopes and a box to store them in.  I knew the size of the cards but had no idea about the measurements for the box and envelopes.  After working on them all week, I finally have the set finished and ready to show you the end result.

The first picture is top of the box.  Gives you an idea what to expect of the inside.

Inside the Box.

Here's everything that is included in the box.  I am so loving this stamp and die set.

I hope you like this little set of mini cards with matching envelopes and box.  I will be posting measurements soon.  Please let me know what you think of my little creation.

Supplies Used

Stamps: Hello Fall
Paper: Dark Roast, Whip Cream, Pumpkin Bread and Corrugated Stock
Inks: Pumpkin Bread, Lemon Drop, Hazelnut Blend, Orange Creamsicle and Cranberry Bliss
Dies: Hello Fall
Accessories: Natural Twine, Toil & Trouble Buttons

Little Home Updating

Now my next photo is a picture of the wall above my fireplace.  My husband and I have been remodeling the house for about 3 years now.  I got rid of everything that was on my walls because I wanted to update everything.  It's been a long process and still ongoing but I finally found what I was looking for to hang on that wall.  I found them at hobby Lobby. I just love that store. I could spend a fortune in there.  I also collect Rae Dunn as you can see in the picture below.  I did have plants in those pots but my daughters dachshund managed to get on my table and destroy those plants.  I wasn't a very happy person when I got home from work.  I will be making a run back to TJ Maxx to replace those plants soon.

Hope you enjoyed my post today!!!

Until next time, have a blessed day!!!

Sketch Challenge

Good morning friends,

Just got home from work a little while ago.  I can't go straight to bed when I first get home from working the evening shift.  I thought I would go ahead and post my card I worked on before heading into work yesterday.  It was fun creating this card.  Maybe because it was a simple sketch.  I'm doing a sketch challenge and I'm pleased with the outcome. You will have to leave a comment and let me know what you think.

If you look closely in the images below you can see that I used Journey Glaze on the images and the words Believe and Christmas.  I just thought it made the card pop.

Supplies:

Stamps: Christmas Magic
Paper: Cranberry Bliss Cardstock, Black Licorice Cardstock and Whip Cream Cardstock
Inks: Black Licorice and Journey Color Burst Pencils
Accessories: Journey Glaze, Rhinestones and Silver Jingle Bells and Snow Pen

I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I did creating it.

Until next time, have a blessed day!!!!

Gift Card Holder

Hello everyone!!!

I hope you are having a good evening.  It's been a good day for me.  I managed to get a lot of housework finished before heading into work.  I love when I am home alone with just the puppies because I can get so much accomplished.

For today's project, I made a gift card holder.  When the kids get to a certain age, we never know what to buy them and what better gift to give them than a gift card.  Of course we want to pretty it up for giving. Let me know what you think of today's project.

Supplies:

Paper:  Cranberry Bliss Cardstock, Whip Cream Cardstock and Cozy Prints
Stamps: Winter Build-A-Scene
Inks: Black Licorice, Cranberry Bliss, Hazelnut Blend (maybe I forgot to write it down)
Accessories: Cut Rhinestones, Journey color burst pencils, Winiter Build-A-Scene dies and a circle die

Hope you enjoy looking at my creations today.

Until next time, have a blessed day!!!!

Skeletons Dancing

Hello everyone,

I hope you have had a wonderful Saturday.  My day has been a little on the lazy side.  I did do some housework and of course I had to make a little time to play in my studio. When it's hot outside, I do not like to be out so what better way to spend the day than in the studio whipping up a few cards.

I had my second workshop Friday evening and I think it turned out to be a successful event.  I would love to try and get more crafters to come to my events.  I hope to pick up a few more when I setup as a vendor at the November crop. If anyone has any tips on how I can draw more people to these workshops, please leave me a comment.  I can use all the help I can get from you all.

For today's card, I really can't take all the credit for it because I had seen it on another Coach's facebook page. I did change it up a little to make it my own.

Don't you just love those little skeletons!!!! They are so darn cute.  I have the supplies listed below for those who are interested.

Supplies:

Stamps: Skeletons Dance
Paper: Black Licorice, Whip Cream, Orange Creamsicle and Corrugated Stock
Ink: Back Licorice and Orange Creamsicle
Dies: Skeletons Dance and Winter Holiday

Until next time, have a blessed day!!!!

July Bloom Box

I know that I am a little late posting the July Bloom Box but it has been a little busy with work, kids and just life in general.

I really liked the July Bloom Box. Strawberries are such a favorite of mine.  I just love the memories it brings me of my childhood.  Getting out in the evenings with my mom and sister picking strawberries off the vines.  I never see anything like that where I live now.  I sometimes miss my childhood.

Okay I changed my cards and they are a little different than what the instructions show in the booklet.  I hope you like my take on the cards for the July Bloom Box. The first card is probably my all time favorite.

If you would like to get the bloom box monthly, please let me know and I can help you get setup and on your way to creating some beautiful artwork.

Until next time.....
May you have a blessed day!!!
