Cottage Bouquet and the Beach

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday.  It's a little rainy here at the Outer Banks.  I was so hoping for sunny days on the beach but instead we are held up in the beach house.  I however, did manage to finish my swaps.  I have to get these out in the mail today in order for them to make it to their destination by Friday.

I had so much fun making this card.  I was up until 3 this morning trying to glue the bows on so that they could dry while I slept.

Life Is Beautiful!!!!

Hi Friends, isn't today just a beautiful day!!! I love Friday's.  It's the end of a work week and time to start the weekend.  My weekend will consist of getting the house cleaned and getting packed for vacation next week, plus spending some much needed time in the studio.   

After getting home from work last night, I did go in the studio and create a really simple card.  I really love the Good Life Collection in the book.  It's probably my favorite.  Here's a card using the "Life is Beautiful" stamp set".  The title is perfect for today.  Isn't the cow just darling.  I can see so many possibilities with this set.

  

Here's a close up of the cow.  I'm not very good at coloring but I think it still turned out pretty.

Strawberry July Bloom Box

We have a sweet bloom box this month.  Strawberries remind me of when I was a kid.  My mom, sister and other members of the family would go on walks and look for the strawberry vines.  It was so nice back then.  Seems like in today's world, we don't take the time to enjoy the little things.  How I wish I could go back to those days as a kid.
