Sketch Card SC226 Swap

Today's card is another swap I signed up to do with two ladies on Card Conga.  If you are interested in joining this group, you should head over to their Facebook page.  Wonderful ladies in that group and you will definitely make everlasting friendships.

Do you ever watch YouTube videos of Nicole Spohr?  If not, you really have to check out her channel.  I get so many wonderful ideas from her and a few others who I follow.  The mouse in this card is where I saw it used for the first time.  The dies cuts a little opening for you to tuck little items under his arm.  On mine I tucked a little heart and a letter.  Looks like he is holding them.  So so Cute!!!!!

Here's a close up of the card.  I used copics on the mouse.  I'm in no way good at coloring but he will have to do.  I wish I could blend really well with markers.  Maybe someday I will get better after tons of practice.

I will have everything listed below in the supplies section of this post of all the goodies I used to make these two cards.

I hope you enjoyed visiting my blog today.  If you have any questions regarding these cards, please let me know.  I am only a message away.

Hello Sunshine Card Swap

Happy Friday everyone!!!!! Not sure about you but it has felt like the longest week and I actually had Monday off because of it being a holiday (Martin Luther King Day).  To me it feels like there's not enough hours in the day to do my crafting (lol).  I think I need to retire and fix that.

Today's card I made for a swap that I entered on Card Conga.  If you like to swap cards, this is the place to be.  Everyone is so friendly and you will definitely make everlasting friendships.

The card was for the letter S swap.  I used Sunshine for mine as you can see.  Everything is MFT except the white card stock and it is Core'dinations 110lb smooth card stock from Pat Catan's.  I use a lot of the Pat Catan's white card stock because it is only a five minute drive from my house and they have great buys on it often and I really really like it. The Tim Holtz distress inks are non MFT as well.  Wanted to throw that in as well.

Feel free to leave me a comment if you have any questions regarding this card.

Supplies:
Stamps: Full of Sunshine
Dies: Sunny Skies Die-namics, Cloud Shaker Window
Inks: Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade (Tim Holtz Distress inks); Black Licorice (FSJ)
Paper: White Core'dinations (Pat Catan's)
Accessories: Sunrise Radiating Rays Stencil (MFT)

Thank you for visiting my blog today.

Until next time, have a blessed day!!

Thank you note cards

Today's post I will be showing you a few note cards I created and a box to store them in. If you like these note cards, they are really simple to make. I used a stencil from My Favorite Things. I don't think its available but if you search, you may find one similar to the one I used. I think it was called chicken wire.

The side of the box I glued a button on the opening side. I used distress inks to give it the pretty color on top of the box and each note card.

The top of the box is to give you a hint of what is inside.

Here's the card and envelope that is stored inside the box.

I really love love how this set turned out.  We will be making these at my workshop on Friday along with a Valentine set of mini cards and matching box.

Supplies:

Stamps: Many Thanks ATS (Fun Stampers Journey)
Ink: Black Licorice (Fun Stampers Journey), Broken China (Tim Holtz Distress Ink)
Paper: White (Pat Catan's)
Dies: Stitched Basic Edges Die-namics (MFT)

I hope you enjoyed visiting my blog today.

Until next time, have a blessed day!!!!

A Happy New Year and A Valentine Box and Card

Image result for happy new year

I hope everyone had a good time ringing in the New Year!!! I sure did... I rang in the New Year creating in my craft room.  I had my timer set for 5 til midnight so I could put my hat on and get my noise maker ready with some confetti.  My son had a friend over to watch scary movies until midnight and he said that I sound like a lonely lady ringing in the New Year by myself.  I told him that I couldn't be anymore happier than where I was at that moment.

Now on to the card I made. I don't really do anything special for Valentine's Day. I already have the love of my life who gave me the two most beautiful children a girl could ask for.  However, I do like to make cute Valentine cards etc.  Sometime I will make things for our student employees at work.  It's nice to let them know how much they are appreciated.  I didn't get around to do anything for them at Christmas because well I procrastinated on that part.  Hopefully I can make it up to them for Valentine's Day.

I had fun making this card and it actually turned out better than I imagined.

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Sending My Love (FSJ)
Dies: Large Bow Die (FSJ), Sending My Love (FSJ), Gable Box (FSJ), Mini Envelope (FSJ)
Cardstock: Bubble Gum (FSJ), Green (Stampin' Up), Tales of You and Me (Prima), White (Pat Catan's)
Accessories: Heart Punch (Stampin' Up), Wood Tiles (Hobby Lobby), Twine (FSJ), Black Licorice Ink (FSJ)

Until next time, have a blessed day!!!!

Happy New Year my friends!!!
