Valentine Gift Bag

Sometimes we need a gift  bag and we just do not have one lying around the house.  We may have a brown bag with handles or maybe just a small lunch sack.  We can actually decorate those up and make as pretty as a store bought gift  bag.  With a little designer paper and ribbon, you will be amazed at what your bag will look like at the end.

I received these bags when i signed up as a demonstrator for Stampin' Up.  It was a paper pumpkin kit from maybe last fall.  They are just small brown bags.  The front of the bag measured 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 and I cut some of the From My Heart DSP, ribbon, tag and created a cute Valentine bag for that special someone.

Isn't the bow just so stinking cute!!!

Prima Tales of You and Me Shabby Chic

Oh do I have a gorgeous project to show you today.  It is, yes, another Suitcase.  I have to say this one is my favorite by far.  Prima paper is the best paper to use when creating that Shabby Chic look.  I made the bows out of glitter paper and I handmade the rosettes.  I just love how the crystals completed the look.  I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do.  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of this suitcase.  I would love to hear from you.

Until next time, have a blessed day!!

Shabby Chic Tag and Envelope

For today's project, I made a Tag with matching envelope.  I have been having a blast making these bows of different sizes and colors.  The paper used is Tales of You and Me by Prima. The flowers and butterfly are also prima. Ribbon and trim are items that I have in my stash.

Here's the tag out of the envelope. Love how this project turned out. The tag measures 7 1/2"x4" and the envelope measures 4 1/4"x6 1/2".

Until next time have a blessed day!!

Another Suitcase

Here's another suitcase I created.  This time instead of creating with paper, I used chipboard and it is so much more sturdy.  Just love how this one turned out as well. Hope you enjoy!!

This is the front of the suitcase

Here's the top of the suitcase. This time I used some hardware for the closure and handle that I had in my stash.  I think the hardware came from Hobby Lobby.

Hope you enjoyed visiting my blog today. Please come back tomorrow for something a little different.  If interested in making this suitcase, refer to my post from yesterday and the video tutorial is at the end of that post.

Until Next time, have a blessed day!!

Suitcase

I am always searching for tutorials to do to showcase on my blog. Today I have found a tutorial that I am having so much fun creating. It's a suitcase and it's big enough to hold little embellishments and tags.  The size of the suitcase is 7"x5 1/2".  I used retired Stampin' Up cardstock and DSP and glitter cardstock from Hobby Lobby. I will post the tutorial at the end of my post.

This is the front of the suitcase.  I straps keeps the suitcase closed using velcro.

Here's the back  and the top

Here's another view of the case.

and the inside of the case. So much room inside.

Wishing you a Happy Winter

I couldn't wait until I got this stamp set in the mail from Concord and 9th.  I knew I wanted to make a MemoryDex card using this girl.  I also think she is a good stamp to use on a January calendar page which will be coming soon.

Until next time, have a blessed day!!

Love Letters

Today's project is another valentine card I made. There was no stamping or die cutting with this project.  Everything used on this card was from the paper kit that I used yesterday on the MemoryDex card.  I popped up the love letter sticker upon dimensionals.  I used some ribbon and attached a key and more of the stickers from the pack that look like tickets.  I found the key in my stash of trinkets and I also added a little bling from my stash.

Hope you enjoyed visiting my blog today. Until next time, have a blessed day!!

Be Mine...

I have another memorydex card to share with you today.  I have to say that I am hooked on making these cards.  This one that I am showcasing today was made using a paper kit that I have had for a few years now.  There was no stamping or die cutting with creating this card.  Everything used was a sticker pack that was included with the paper.  The key was in my stash of other trinkets.

I hope you enjoyed visiting my blog today.  Until next time, have a blessed day!!!

Another Memory Dex Card

My second memory dex card is movie popcorn. I love popcorn from the movies.  The best movie popcorn that I have ever had is located at the cinema in Ashland, Ky.  Oh, how I miss their popcorn.

Okay onto the card. This card I used a stamp from "Stamps By Judith".  It's a stamp that I have had for a few years now.  I used copics to color the images and I popped it up on dimensionals.  I found a piece of film strip in my stash and of course you have to have your tickets.

Hope you enjoyed today's card!!!

Until next time, have a blessed day!!

Memory Dex Card and Box

I have been wanting for the longest time to make a Memory Dex Card and Box.  Well I finally made one and I am having so much fun with these.  Here is my first one and many more to come.

I had so much fun coloring this little girl.  She was a retired set from MFT but they brought her back out of the vault and it was my chance to get her.  Now with making the card I needed a box to hold the cards below you will find my creation.

This box measures 4.25"x7".  This is the front of the box.

Side of  box and I added little legs to the bottom to make it so much more cuter.
