 Cheers 🥂

For today's card, I have created a second New Years Card.  It will also be created at my workshop on Friday.  There was a lot of cutting these pieces out to make this card.  I hope I have a good turnout on Friday.  I'm trying to figure out how to add a second workshop per month.  If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them.

Now on with the card.  I used a white card base folded at the top. Attached a black piece of cardstock to the front of the card base.   Cut out the Mini Circle Garland Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts and the cheers die from silver glitter Cardstock.  To make the glasses I cut two per glass vellum and one per glass acetate.  I used blue cardstock from Stampin' Up that is retired for the liquid in the glasses. The Happy New Year is stamped using white embossing powder.

Hope you enjoyed visiting my blog today.

Here's a close up of the card.

Until next time, have a blessed day!!

Happy New Year!!!!

Okay, so it isn't really New Years. I did have a request to make this card at our next workshop. My November workshop will be on Friday and it will be our last workshop this year. With that said, this is one of the cards we will be making.
I wasn't sure of the colors at first. I thought it was just a little too dark. Once I stamped it and used black embossing powder, I loved it. Since the wording was black, I decided to make the card base black.

Wondering how I made the beautiful background on this card!!!!!..... I took my Journey Gel Press and took the FSJ reinkers Watermelon Fusion, Beach Ball and Grape Fusion and dropped a few drops of each color sporadically over the gel press. I sprayed a little water on the press and took my Brayer and mixed the colors by rolling over them a few times to spread the colors out on the press. I took an 8 1/2 x 11 White cardstock and transferred the color to the cardstock. Once dried, I took the All Prettied Up Die from Simon Says Stamp and cut out the image. The Happy New Year Wishes stamp set can also be found at Simon Says Stamp. The last step I took on finishing this card, was dropping some Black Licorice Silk on the card. Which I think, puts a really nice touch to the card.
This card was so much fun creating. Mixing all those three colors together and creating your own design. With the Journey Gel Press, you can use an assortment of inks and paints to achieve that different gorgeous look.

Here's a closer up of this beautiful card.

 Gift Tags

For today's card, I am using the Pure Innocence Holiday Cheer stamp and Holiday Cheer Die from My Favorite Things. You can also pick up these cute stamps from Simon Says Stamp as well. My plan for this adorable stamp set was to make a card but after receiving the Bread Tag Die from Spellbinders/FSJ, I knew I had to make a tag.

I am trying to teach myself to shade when I color my images.  These two aren't by best work but hopefully next time they will look better. With the actual tag, I cut out a layer of white cardstock and then a layer of glitter cardstock from Cricut for the top using the Bread Tag die.

These tags will be one of the projects we will be making at my monthly workshop on Friday.  I think they turned out great.  Can't wait to use these on a gift for that someone special.

Until next time, have a blessed day!!!

Engagement Gift

My daughter needed a gift for a friend who is getting married July 2019.  I had to get my cricut out and start whipping up a little nice surprise for the Bride-to-Be. I have to say that I just love how the mugs and the ornament turned out.  I was such a procrastinator on getting these items made.  Of course I waited until the last minute, a few hours before she actually needed it.

The box is just a paper mache box that we picked up from our local craft store Pat Catan's.  I already had the Christmas paper at home.  My daughter did a very good job on decorating the box.  Sarah (Bride-to-Be) loves Christmas and she wanted to make the box with Christmas paper which I absolutely love.

Below is the top of the box.  I have to say this pad of paper is just to adorable.  I think it was perfect for this project.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my creations today.

Until next time, have a blessed day!!!

Truckin' Home for the Holidays

Who else loves this truck as much as I do?  I just can't get enough use out of it.  These are the designs for a swap and for my workshop this month. I couldn't decide on just one color; therefore, I picked three. I love how the card base matches the truck.

A lot of little pieces to cut and glue but once it's together it's divine.  The snow falling is popped up on dimensionals.  Anyone who knows me, knows I love using dimensionals.  I love giving my cards a little extra pop.  The truck is also popped up as well.

The truck and accessories are by Spellbinders.  It was the October large die of the month.  Not sure if it's still available.  When I searched for it, I couldn't find it.

Supplies

Stamps: Jingle Greetings (Mama Elephant)
Cardstock: Bubble Gum (FSJ), Candy Apple (FSJ), White (Pat Catan's), Pool Play (FSJ), Black Licorice (FSJ) and Limeade Splash (FSJ)
Ink:
Dies:October Die of the Month (Spellbinders)
Accessories: Gently Falling Embossing Folder (Stampin' Up), Dimensionals (Stampin' Up),

Until next time, have a blessed day!!!!!

New Photography Station

Decided to upgrade my worktable in my studio and thought it was getting to crowded. Once I cleared a few shelves out, I made this photo station next to my window.  Now my photos should be much better (I hope).  Stay tuned, will have more projects coming soon.

Until next time, have a blessed day!!
